New details in the alleged assault case between Ruby Rose and Katy Perry have emerged as the former nightclub manager speaks out.
A man claiming to be the manager of Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne, Australia, at the time of the alleged incident, told the Herald Sunthat both the actress, 40, and Perry, 41, “had way too much to drink” on the night in question.
While the unnamed man did not see the reported assault, he did recall seeing the two women at the club. He also added that the two stars “left on good terms despite being heavily intoxicated,” according to TMZ.
The Orange Is the New Black, alum, had alleged in a Threads post on Sunday April 12 that the pop star “saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomitted on her.”
The update comes as In Touch reported that Australian police have opened an investigation into alleged incident.

“Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,” a representative for the Victoria Police Department told In Touch.
A rep for Perry denied claims made in Rose’s posts, which have since been deleted. “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies,” the spokesperson told In Touch. “Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named,” the rep said.
