The 50 First Dates actress has three older half-siblings through her father, including actor John Blyth Barrymore. Drew’s parents divorced in 1984 when she was just 9 years old.

Her father, who passed away in November 2004, came from a family of actors. Drew and her father followed in the footsteps of her paternal great-grandparents, Maurice and Georgie Drew Barrymore, Maurice and Mae Costello, and her paternal grandparents, John Barrymore and Dolores Costello.

After a brief romance with her Going the Distance costar Justin Long, Drew began dating Will – the son of former Chanel COO Arie L. Kopelman – in 2011. They became engaged in January 2012 and tied the knot during a romantic ceremony in Montecito, California in June of that year.

In April 2015, the former couple released a statement announcing their separation. Drew officially filed for divorce in July that same year, and it was finalized on August 3, 2016.

While speaking with guest Whoopi Goldberg during a December 2022 taping of her talk show, the Fever Pitch star revealed that she was putting herself out there a bit more, as she started to get a little concerned about how comfortable she is with being by herself. 

“I am [dating],” she told the Sister Act alum. “Because it had been so many years, I started to get a little worried, like I’m too good at being alone.”
