Hemna has previously written for corporate law firms, the Superior Court of New Jersey, a digital wellness magazine publication and both print and digital for a legal news publication.</p>
Hemna graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Business Administration. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from Drexel University’s School of Law.
With writing as a long-time passion of hers, Hemna wrote dozens of legal memos and briefs during her legal externship at Eckert, Seamans, Cherin & Mellott LLC in Philadelphia. After law school, she went on to research and analyze legalese with a family law judge in the Superior Court of New Jersey. Hemna transitioned from a legal career to journalism and started an internship at a digital magazine company called The Wellness Feed. She began writing articles on health, wellness, beauty and lifestyle and even got to interview major B-Corp companies on their brands and how they achieved success. Hemna soon after started writing as an Associate Legal News Editor at Mealey Publications, a legal news company tailored for lawyers, where she wrote pieces on controversial case law and the newest changes in the legal world that attorneys needed to know. Hemna now covers entertainment news at Accelerate 360 Media and enjoys working in such an exciting environment prone to celebrity breaking news.
