Chelsea Duff is a news writer for In Touch Weekly with a specialty in predicting the Duggars’ futures, a morbid fascination with true crime (as demonstrated through her excessive reporting on Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s story in The Act) and more knowledge of 90 Day Fiancé than she ever anticipated needing. A genuine fan of The Bachelor and every single Kardashian grandkid (but Dream and True above all), Chelsea’s TV schedule is way too packed, and yet she just keeps watching more shows. If you need a recommendation, she’d like to point you in the direction of Dead to Me on Netflix, Fleabag on Amazon Prime or Sweet/Vicious wherever you can get your hands on it.
Work or writing background leading to expertise
Starting at In Touch and Life & Style as a features writer, she photoshopped all manner of ridiculous things before settling in as a news writer. Now, she cohosts In Touch and OK! Magazine’s “Dishin’ On The Duggars” podcast, where she breaks down pregnancy announcements, recaps Counting On, and builds elementary school-style fortune tellers to answer any and all Duggar-related questions. She’s also particularly proud of the work she did on her debunking The Act series, where she connected with Gypsy Rose Blanchard’s family to uncover what was fact and what was fiction in the Hulu show.
A writing seminars major at The Johns Hopkins University, Chelsea graduated in December 2014 with a special place in her heart for the Baltimore Orioles and Iggies in Mount Vernon.
Chelsea got her start as an entertainment writer for Girls’ Life Magazine, writing celebrity profiles and becoming obsessed with teen media. Before long, she was the contributing entertainment editor for GL, and then a weekend editor at HelloGiggles, where she assigned, edited and wrote news and entertainment stories.
