The Grammy Award-winning singer and Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 36, tied the knot during a lavish ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3. While delivering 20-minute vows, the two were accompanied on stage by Travis’ Happy Gilmore 2 co-star, who acted as the officiant.
During the ceremony, Adam offered the couple a few words of advice that he learned during his 23-year marriage to his wife Jackie.
While speaking to The Deseret News, Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid shared that the comedian “told them to keep kissing.
“So, in its simplest form, that’s a good thing,” he added. “It’s hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss or your wife gives you a kiss.
“Make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. Knock it out, and you won’t have problems.”

The NFL coach was very amused by Adam’s performance as officiant, praising, “In a simple, hysterical way, he was phenomenal. He’s crazy, but he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humor.”
The couple’s romance started three years prior, when the football player mentioned the singer on his New Heights podcast. During an episode in July 2023, Travis admitted to attempting to shoot his shot at her iconic Eras Tour.
Two months later, reports said the two had started spending time together. They have been linked ever since.
