’90 Day Fiance’ Couple Loren and Alexei Brovarnik Reveal Baby No. 1’s Name: Meet Shai!

The newest addition! 90 Day Fiancé couple Loren Brovarnik (née Goldstone) and her husband, Alexei Brovarnik, revealed their baby son’s name exactly one week after his birth.

“We are so excited to introduce you to our son … Shai Josef Brovarnik,” the proud new mama wrote in her Instagram announcement on Tuesday, April 21. “We are so in love [blue heart emoji] [nazar amulet emoji]. #teambrovarnik #babybrov #shaijosef.”

The couple chose a name with a very special meaning for their firstborn child. The name Shai is of Hebrew and Aramaic origin, and it means “gift,” according to The Bump. His middle name, Josef, is derived from the Hebrew Yōsēf, which means “may he add, God shall add,” according to Baby Name Wizard.

The TLC duo welcomed their healthy bundle of joy at South Beach’s Mount Sinai Hospital on April 14. Loren, 31, and Alexei’s son was born at 4:26 p.m. weighing 5 pounds and 10 ounces, measuring 19 inches.

“We were meant to meet our baby boy earlier! With everything going on right now with the virus, this is the smile and light we needed! We are so beyond in love with him and even more in love with each other,” the proud parents told Us Weekly in a statement after his arrival.

After they shared the news on Instagram, several fans, friends and fellow reality stars shared their well-wishes in the comments. “Omg!!!! Congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you guys! You deserve so much happiness God bless your wonderful and beautiful family!!!” Paola Mayfield sweetly replied. “Congratulations!” Stacey Silva also wrote.

Loren and Alexei announced they were expanding their brood in October 2019. At the time, she shared a sentimental story, revealing how thrilled they were to become parents. “The fact that it happened in Israel just makes it that much more special for us,” the New York native said. “We have been through a lot, and we’re just so excited for this next journey together!”

The dynamic duo currently lives in Hollywood Beach, Florida. Prior to the birth of their precious son, the pair hopped on a plane to Mexico for some rest and relaxation. Loren showed off her growing bump during their fun-filled babymoon in January.

Loren and Alexei met in 2013 during her Birthright trip and they will soon be celebrating their five-year anniversary. The pair exchanged their vows on two separate occasions, once in America in 2015 and again in Israel in 2016.

In January 2020, they celebrated reaching the end of their 90 Day Fiancé process, and it couldn’t have come at a better time. “We just had Alex’s citizenship interview and he passed it. After years of applications, waiting, hard work and patience, [he] got approved to be a U.S. citizen,” she announced.
