It looks like Maksim Chmerkovskiy may be hanging up his dancing shoes!
According to reports, the Dancing With the Stars pro was spotted in New York City on August 20 auditioning for his acting role – and he nailed it!
“He said he’s always been interested in movies,” a source says. “It’s something he’s always wanted to do.”
While the title of the movie he auditioned for is unknown, the source adds that Maks read for the lead male role in an upcoming romantic drama. If he lands the gig, it will be his first major film role.
