We know Liberty Ross has a great name, but what else is there to learn about the betrayed wife of Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders? The 33-year-old model, actress and mother actually enjoyed a good amount of success before ever being attached to her director husband and making the news this week.
British Modeling Icon
Named “The Face of the Millennium” in 2000, Liberty was first discovered as a teenager by famed photographer Mario Testino. She has since graced the pages of nearly every major fashion publication, from Vogue to Harper's Bazaar. She has worked alongside Kate Moss, and her extensive campaign appearances include modeling for Burberry, Dior and Jimmy Choo, to name a few.
Wife and Mother
In 2003 at the age of 24, Liberty wed longtime boyfriend Rupert. They have two children, daughter Skyla, 7, and son Tennyson, 5.
A Husband’s Support System
Liberty put her career on hold to support her husband’s. “We loved LA, wanted a change and we knew that Rupert would get lots more work,” she later said of their decision to make the transatlantic move.
Ross began her own film career, appearing in Madonna’s W.E. and her husband’s Snow White and the Huntsman, where she played Queen Eleanor, mother to Kristen Stewart’s Snow White.
