It may come as no surprise to his fans, but Usher sure knows how to throw a party— even when it’s for a gaggle of 5-year-olds!
On Nov. 27, the “Scream” singer took a break from his music to tend to his daddy duties by throwing his son Cinco a fifth birthday party…and an awesome one, at that!
The star hosted the shindig at Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park in Atlanta, where the entire floor was reserved for Usher and his Cinco’s friends and family. The 75+ party guests literally bounced off the walls all afternoon, and Usher even joined in on the fun.
“I’m such a big kid with my kids!!!” the star tweeted during the party, posting several photos of himself jumping on wall-to-wall trampolines with his kids.
When it was time to sing “Happy Birthday,” the guests enjoyed a giant custom cake in the shape of an astronaut. The best part? It was Cinco who could be seen in the spacesuit! Dozens of alien-decorated cupcakes accompanied the giant spaceman, as Usher made sure there was plenty of sugary treats for everyone!
Perhaps the most touching moment of the afternoon was when the children released a bunch of blue, silver and gold balloons into the air in remembrance of Usher’s late stepson, Kile Glover, who passed away at the age of eleven earlier this year.
“If you saw these in the air...this is who send them,” Usher posted online, along with a touching photo of his sons releasing the balloons. “They sent them up to Baby Kile Money. Missin you :-)”
