Lady Gaga’s boyfriend Taylor Kinney sat down on Today this morning to talk about his sexy new show Chicago Fire and, most importantly, his romance with Mother Monster.
When show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb asked Taylor if it’s weird to date the eccentric singer, he replied with an answer that was rather surprising.
“I don’t know, because I don’t have that outside view,” he admits. “It’s normal, if you will, in that respect.”
Call us crazy, but there’s nothing ho-hum about dating one of the most iconic pop stars of this generation…not to mention, Gaga’s personality is anything but “normal.”
And while it's common for many people to brag about the accomplishments of their significant other, Gaga took things to the next level on the night of Taylor’s show debut.
"My bf Taylor is on TV TONIGHT!!! for the premiere of CHICAGO FIRE on NBC at 10/9c in America. Monsters, wanna watch it with me+chat online?" she tweeted to her 30 million fans. Yes, you read that correctly.
“I think she’s proud of, you know, a girlfriend being proud of her boyfriend,” he says of his supportive other half. “She's been to the set a couple of times.”
The pair celebrated their one-year anniversary in August after first meeting on the set of Gaga’s "You and I" music video.
"I’m a happy guy,” the 31-year-old confesses. “I’m a lucky guy.”
