Patricia Krentcil, better known as the Tanning Mom, seems to have embraced the infamy she earned after being accused of taking her then-5-year-old daughter into a tanning booth. (A charge she still denies, by the way.) But her much-ballyhooed makeover in In Touch was just the beginning: On Aug. 29, the 44-year-old from Nutley, N.J. was the guest of honor at New York’s XL Nightclub, where a troupe of drag performers planned an entire show — called “Hot Mess” — around her story.
Unfortunately, though, the show's name proved prophetic: After stumbling — and purposefully exposing herself — on the red carpet, a drunk-seeming Patricia was ultimately ejected from the event, long before the show conceived in her honor was even done. Needless to say, people are concerned about her: Has the spotlight grown too hot for the mother of five? Or was it just a onetime overindulgence? It’s too soon to tell, but in the meantime, the pictures are definitely worth a thousand words.
