Simon Cowell says Britney Spears might even be a tougher judge than he is!

Nothing makes The X Factor’s Simon Cowell happier than to be able to say “I told you so” to all the haters who doubted his decision to recruit Britney Spears as a judge for the new season of his singing competition.
“When we signed her, people said she would be a car crash, that she would have no personality,” the legendary record producer tells the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands tomorrow. “Wrong! She’s a fascinating girl, and she knows how to judge.”
Simon says the controversial singer — who will make her debut on the Fox show’s Sept. 12 premiere — surprised him with her “very competitive” streak.
“She’s totally and utterly fearless. She couldn’t care less who she said 'no' to. She wouldn’t be influenced by me or L.A. [Reid] either. She did her own thing,” he reveals.
And while Britney has Simon’s stamp of approval — “[She] is charmingly humble for someone that has had this much success” — he doesn’t hold back from revealing some of her more diva demands on set.
"When we were filming, no matter who came up to the table to give us advice — he could have been a producer or a sound person or the head of the network — Britney would ask him to get her a cup of coffee,” Simon reveals to In Touch. “It became a running joke!”
