Looks like Carole Radziwill isn't the only author in the Real Housewives of New York crew!
Cast member Aviva Drescher, who spent much of her first season talking openly about her horrific childhood accident and the fake leg she's worn ever since, is writing a memoir. The book, due out next February, will be called Leggy Blonde.
"I love to write and I wanted to get my story out there," Aviva wrote in a blog post for Bravo, the network that airs Housewives. "It was very cathartic."
In addition to stories about her injury and recovery, Aviva says the book will also include funny family memories and stories about her "wackadoo" childhood, as well as memories of her late mother. She is also an activist for people who have lost limbs and wants to emphasize the triumphs she's had, including a law degree and four kids.
Aviva is not the only Housewife to get into book publishing. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga recently released a relationship advice book. Aviva's co-star LuAnn de Lesseps previously published an etiquette guide.
