It’s going to be a lovely summer for the royal family!
In a Jan. 14 statement, St. James Palace revealed that Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their first baby in July.

"Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in July," the statement said.
The expecting parents revealed the news of their first child on Dec. 3, when the pregnant Dutchess was admitted to King Edward VII Hospital for Hyperemesis Gravidarum (extreme morning sickness).

Luckily, she’s been feeling better since being released from treatment four days after her hospital admission.
"The Duchess's condition continues to improve since her stay in hospital last month," the statement also said.

While Kate’s pregnancy condition has forced her to pull out of several events since the news of her baby was first revealed, she was able to attend London’s National Portrait Gallery on Friday for the unveiling of her first official portrait.
