It's official! Kim Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West's baby, but even before she had a bun in the oven, the reality star has always been open about her feelings on motherhood. Without further ado, In Touch brings you ten quotes from the expectant mother about kids, parenting and post-baby plastic surgery from before, and now, during her pregnancy.
Days After Splitting From Kris Humphries in Late 2011: “I always wanted what Mom and Dad had. And at first I was like, I want six kids. Then I went down to four, then I was down to three…and now I'm like, maybe I won't have any. Maybe I'll just be a good aunt.”
Justifying Her Split from Kris to Her Fans: "Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed into something too soon."
Post-Kris Split, Kim Wonders if Kids are in the Cards for Her: "At this moment in my life, I feel like maybe I'm not supposed to have kids and all that."
On Her Ticking Biological Clock: "I want to be pregnant by the time I’m 30, hopefully.”
Whether or Not She'll Have Post-Baby Plastic Surgery: "If I’m older, and definitely after I have kids, I might need to get a breast lift if that's something that I might choose to do, but I’m not the type of person that will ever be too afraid to admit to you now, something that I’ve done."
Her Exciting Announcement: "It’s true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us. Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family."
On Sis Kourtney's Pregnancy Experience: “My sister (Kourtney) has made it look easy, and it’s not as easy as people think. It’s a little painful. There’s a lot of growing pains. But I have heard it’s all worth it so I’m looking forward to that.”
She's Avoided Morning Sickness...So Far: "I wouldn’t say that pregnancy has been easy but there's been no morning sickness. When people say pregnancy is fun and they love it, I would disagree. I think from this stage on it does become easier and funner but it’s just adjusting."
Her Pregnancy Cravings: "I'm craving sushi, but I know I can't really have it, so I'm eating a lot of carrots and celery with lots of ranch."
How She's Managing Her First Trimester: "I take lots of naps. Actually I feel really good."
