The Oscar winner, 46, is reportedly in her second trimester at 12 weeks along and expecting a baby boy.
"Halle and Olivier are really excited," a source tells E! News. "It's a blessing. They can't wait to have a baby together."
The rumor mill began churning after Halle was recently spotted covering up her body on the beach while vacationing in Hawaii with Olivier, 47, and 5-year-old daughter Nahla — from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry.
In November, the actress discussed the possibility of starting a family with Olivier.
"That's the thing. [My daughter is] asking me," she admitted. "Every night we pray to God, and she's so sweet. She says, 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister. And I say, 'I can do one of those things, I know for sure! The other one we have to keep praying on.' What do you say to her when she wants that and can't understand why God's taking so long, you know?"
And while the little girl might not be getting a sister to play with, Halle met her half way on the baby wish. So why did Halle wait until her mid-40's to get pregnant again?
"I'm a much better mother at 46, or 41 when I had her, than if I were 21 or 25. I was just a little baby, just trying to figure it out, trying to figure out who I was, let alone have the responsibility of trying to help another little soul develop and grow," The Call star said. "I'm so glad I waited."
Olivier and Halle began dating in 2010 after meeting on set of their film Dark Tide. The actor confirmed their engagement in March 2012. This will be their first child together.
Congratulations to the growing family!
