There’s a new celebrity trend on the rise: wine!
Not only are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie dabbling in the wine business, but other celebs like Fergie and Drew Barrymore are getting in on the alcohol action, too!
Hollywood power couple Brad and Angie are helping produce a rosé called Miraval with French winemaker Marc Perrin. “They were at the blending sessions and look at everything from the installations to the labels,” says Marc. The name “Jolie-Pitt” will appear on Miraval’s back label, and their vino is slated to arrive in March.
And while she won’t be drinking any alcohol for a while, newly-pregnant Fergie recently launched a new line of home-grown wines called Ferguson Crest.
Pat Ferguson, Fergie’s dad— who cultivates the wine from the family’s California vineyard with Joey Tensley, Ferguson Crest’s winemaker— co-created the line with his Grammy Award-winning daughter.
But the celebrity grape stompin’ doesn’t stop there. On Feb. 20, actress Drew Barrymore launched her own wine label called Barrymore Wines, in honor of her family legacy.
“A fan of crisp, fruity white wines, Barrymore’s first offering for the label is a Pinot Grigio with additional blends to be unveiled at the end of this year,” a press release for the wine states. “Barrymore Pinot Grigio is a straw yellow, full-bodied wine with hints of fresh apricot and lively citrus flavors.”
The best part about Drew’s new Pinot? It’s only $19.99! She may be an A-List star, but she’s making sure her drinks are easy on the wallet for all!
