Despite Miley Cyrus' recent engagement, she has no plans to head to the altar because she is so busy working on a new CD with rapper Pharell.
"I kind of already feel married," she said as she walked the red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards in LA on Sept. 6. "I know we're forever, and I don't really need a paper right now."
"I've got so much going with this record," she said. "This record's going to, like, kill me. I'm really proud of the album. It's my favorite thing I've done, probably ever.”
Miley got engaged to Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth, 22, in June.
At the time, she said it didn’t matter that they were both so young.
“Life is too short not to be with the person you want to be with,” she said. “I don't really care about the wedding or the piece of paper as much as I do the promise we've made to each other."
