Lindsay Lohan sat down this morning for an interview with Good Morning America, but nothing could have prepared the star for finding out on national television about the news of an unknown sibling.
Only one day after a DNA-test confirmed Lindsay's father Michael Lohan as the father of 17-year-old Ashley Horn, his own daughter was unaware of her long-lost half-sister.
“I didn’t even hear that, so thanks for the news,” Lindsay said after the mention of her father’s positive paternity test.
Allegedly, Ashley’s mother had a fling with Michael in 1995, when he was still married to but separated from Lindsay’s mom Dina. And while news of another Lohan has been plastered all over the news in the last 24 hours, it seems Lindsay was the last to know about her new family member.
“I don’t pay attention to any of it. I can’t,” the Liz & Dick star admitted of reading about her family in the tabloids. “I don’t really want to get into that because I want to stay on the positive side of things. I’m in the process of kind of moving, and spending time with my family and just be happy.”
While Lindsay brushed off the news of her half-sister, Michael attempted to make things right with his newly-confirmed third daughter when he met her yesterday for the first time.
Michael moved in for an awkward first-time hug, and Ashley replied, "No, no, no," shying away from her father
