Mel Gibson dropped some mad money while dining with pals at Boa Steakhouse in LA on August 8. An eyewitness tells In Touch the star wowed his dinner guests, including the daughters of billionaire Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone (Tamara, 28, and Petra, 23) with a $4,500 bottle of bubbly!
“Their extravagant dinner included the most expensive of Champagnes, La Tache, at $4,500 per bottle,” the eyewitness tells In Touch.
Say what you want about Mel, but he’s a great tipper — he left the waitress $900, says the source. “She was thrilled!” And it’s not his first over-the-top tip – on February 24, an eyewitness told In Touch he gave a waiter $100 to fetch $2 worth of breadsticks for his meal at Madeo in West Hollywood
