Most tattoos tell a story— of heartbreak, love, loss, and remembrance—but Ryan Cabrera’s latest ink is the permanent outcome of some friendly gambling.
Debuting new tat on his calf—a vivid portrait of Ryan Gosling’s face— the singer explained that his fresh artwork was a product of “tattoo roulette.”
“[My friends] like to play a game called tattoo roulette,” Ryan told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We blindfold each other. ‘You get to pick a tattoo for me, and I get to pick a tattoo for you. And you don’t get to see it till they’re both done.’”

Explaining that his leg was free real estate (his arms are reserved for “real tattoos” only), he considers this tat to be one of the special ones.
"The best part is he [the tattoo artist] did it portrait style, so it looks like the president in silhouette," the "On the Way Down" singer said. "I'm very proud of it. I consider it the Bentley of tattoos."
But don’t expect him to be showing off his Gosling gam to the actor, himself, any time soon.
"No, no, no, I'm not showing it to Ryan," the singer said with a laugh.
