Lindsay Lohan is officially back in rehab— and just before her stint began, the star's outspoken father, Michael Lohan, opened up to In Touch about his daughter's mental health.
“Lindsay was diagnosed as bipolar,” claims Michael, 53, adding that he believes Lindsay, 26, is addicted to Adderall— which is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder— and needs a detox before rehab.
“She needs a nurse 24 hours a day,” Michael insists. “She’s suffering.”

Following Lindsay’s June 2012 car crash in Santa Monica, Calif., she pleaded no contest at her March 18 court hearing. The actress avoided jail time and was instead sentenced to 90 days in a lockdown rehab facility, 30 days of community service, and 18 months of mandated psychotherapy.
But she won’t be rehabilitating without turning some heads!
On April 30, the star shared an Instagram pic of herself sitting on the floor surrounded by several bags, suitcases, and lots of clothes.
“90 days and 270 looks," she captioned the shot.
Although Lindsay remains positive about treatment— she recently explained rehab as "a blessing and not a curse" —her dad still insists otherwise.
