The actress, 26, shared a picture of herself on set, which shows her sitting on a trunk in a room, through her Twitter. She wrote with the photo, “Feels so good to be home... #GleeSeason5.”
Production for the fifth season was delayed one week in order to deal with the death of Cory, 31, who died from a toxic mix of alcohol and heroin on July 13.
Other castmates have spoken out since returning back to filming, with star Chris Colfer sharing, “We’ve had bumps and dips along the road over the course of the years, but nothing like this. I know we’ve always come together — always — in the past, because we are such a family in the cast and the crew.”
“But I don’t know. I’m assuming things will be very different, and I’m sure they’ll be difficult at first. But…. We’ll see. I think I’m positive," he added.
Fox has announced that an episode of the upcoming season will “deal directly” with Cory’s death, and will also touch on the subject of drug addiction.
Glee returns on Thursday, Sept. 26.
