In Touch has learned that Tom Cruise’s December date with NYC restaurant manager Cynthia Jorge was more than just a one-night thing.
“They’re getting to know each other,” a source close to Cynthia, 26, tells In Touch, on newsstands now. “It’s like any relationship in the beginning phase.”

As In Touch first revealed, Tom, 50, danced the night away with Cynthia at Le Baron in the early morning of Dec. 18. Two nights before, Cynthia had handed Tom her card after meeting him at Beauty & Essex, the restaurant where she works. They looked awfully cozy on the dance floor, and although a rep for Tom denies any relationship, the two, according to the source, are still very much in contact.
“Obviously, dating someone like Tom feels like a fairy tale,” says the source, who insists it’s Tom’s personality — not his fame and fortune — that Cynthia is most drawn to. “They have a lot in common and are seeing where things go.”
