In Touch can reveal that the rapper flew out those closest to him for the special event on Oct. 21.
“A lot of his friends were in Vancouver, Canada after his canceled concert because they’d gone ahead of him and ended up spending the night there, so they joined him in San Francisco,” an insider tells In Touch. “He even flew about six friends from LA.”
So who was in attendance?
“Publicist Tracy Nguyen, manager Izvor Zivkovic, designer Louise Goldin, stylist Renelou Padora and preacher Rick Wilkerson, Jr.,” the source shares. “His best friend Virgil Abloh deejay-ed for hours at what turned into an afterparty.
Kanye rented out the AT&T Park – where the San Francisco Giants play – for the occasion. Loved ones looked on as “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!” flashed on a jumbotron in front of Kim’s eyes. The source says Kanye had an orchestra set up and they played his, Keri Hilson and Ne-Yo’s hit song “Knock You Down.”
“It’s the first time he rapped about his love for Kim,” the insider tells In Touch. “It’s something special between them because he says he always knew they’d end up together.”
As everyone now knows, Kim said “yes” to her man and many of their pals posted about the happy news on social media. The bombshell posted a shot of her engagement ring and the ballpark earlier today.
“Kanye said he’s known for years that they’d end up engaged,” shares the source. “He said he is ‘blessed’ to be with her.”
The engagement comes four months after the duo welcomed the first child, a daughter named North.
