The X Factor may be in LA, but last night’s show got a giant dose of Jersey… the Jersey Shore, in particular.
The cast of MTV’s hit reality show stopped by the set of X Factor last night to catch the first of the talent competition's two-night Season 2 Finale. While Mike “The Situation” wasn’t able to join his co-stars, DJ Pauly D, Snooki, JWoww, Sammi, Ronnie and Vinny got a chance to schmooze with Simon Cowell, hang out backstage and root for their favorite acts.

Tonight marks the final show, and it comes down to country crooner Tate Stevens, female ensemble Fifth Harmony and child prodigy Carly Rose. So who are the Jersey Shore stars cheering on?
While Ronnie tweeted that he’s 100% Team Carly, Vinny seems a little bit torn. “Carly rose is pound for pound best artist there BUT 5th harmony put on a show tonight,” Vinny tweeted during last night’s show. “Tate is also really good so it's a toss up.”
Pauly D was just pumped to be in the audience, but it seems America’s favorite meatball Snooki, who admitted to loving Tate, was a fan of another star altogether.
“Yay SO EXCITED to go to @TheXFactorUSA tonight!” she wrote. “Can we be best friends @SimonCowell? K awesome.”
And she achieved it...well, sort of. They may not be BFFs, but the Jersey gang did take a snapshot with the infamous judge, which Snooks later showed off on Twitter.

Living up to her nickname, Sammi maintained her “Sweetheart” status by playing Devil’s advocate and staying mum about who she wants to win.
“They all sing so amazing it gives me chills,” she wrote. “They are all winners in my book #xfactor."
