Talk about generous.
At a concert in New York City this week rock legend Bret Michaels and Operation Homefront surprised an Iraq War veteran and his family with keys to a new house!
During the show, in which Michaels was honoring honoring military personnel as well as 9/11 responders, he called Matthew Callaghan and his wife Amanda up on stage and presented them with keys to their new, mortgage-free, house.
Matthews, now a serving member of the FDNY in New York, was injured by an IED during his deployment to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
"It was awesome," said Matt, "We were hanging out with Bret Michaels and end up with a house."
"We thought we were going to a concert...and then they pulled us on stage and gave us a mortgage-free house. It was amazing," Amanda gushed to Fox & Friends the next day.
