It was no ordinary Saturday for shoppers at New Jersey’s Garden State Plaza.
Carrying her pup in a small dog carrier, Amanda Bynes headed to the Paramus-based mall this weekend, where her presence caused quite a stir amongst the summer crowd.
"I saw Amanda at the mall with no security detail— just her and her dog,” eyewitness Mike Hendershott tells In Touch. “It was around 7pm Saturday night and I saw her on her way out.”
But Amanda wasn’t very receptive of her star-struck fans. In fact, Mike says she wasn’t nice at all to the “many tweens drooling over her.”
“She was rude and kind of out of it. She just seemed to be wandering,” he tells the mag. “ Fans were yelling at her that they love her and wanted to take pics with her but she wasn't having it. She was wearing that blonde wig. It wasn't exactly well groomed… it looks like a pretty crappy wig."
But that’s not all! According to eyewitness Josh Freeman, the former child star was so annoyed at a fan who snapped a photo of her that she grabbed the phone and deleted the photo before returning the cell.
“After that, a crowd formed around her and everyone was taking pictures and talking about her,” he tells In Touch of Amanda. “She was clearly upset and kind of embarrassed because she started yelling at people to stop.”
The Easy A star finally had enough and decided to leave when two kids sang the Amanda Bynes theme song.
While she refrained from cursing, Josh did say that Amanda was talking to herself upon her exit from the mall.
