After married country star Jason Aldean was caught making out with former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr in a bar last weekend, the “My Kinda Party” singer almost immediately fessed up and apologized. And now the “other woman” is apologizing for her actions, as well.
Forced to delete her Twitter account from floods of harassment about her hookup session with the star, Brittany has now made a public statement about her regret:
"The actions I portrayed recently were not a representation of my true character, but a lapse in judgment on my part," she said. "I would like to sincerely apologize to everyone that has been affected by this, including my friends and family."
After photos surfaced of the two getting hot and heavy in an LA bar last weekend, Jason confessed to his wrongdoings on Facebook.
"The truth is that I screwed up. I had too much to drink, let the party get out of hand and acted inappropriately at a bar,” Jason admitted. “I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself.”
Jason and his wife, Jessica, have been married for over a decade and have two young daughters together. His hit “Take a Little Ride” is currently No. 1 on Billboard's Country Songs chart.
