Angelina Jolie was spotted out and about on the Hawaiian island of Oahu yesterday, scouting locations for her new pic, Unbroken, which she is directing.
The actress, who flew into Honolulu over the weekend with her sons, Maddox and Pax, was seen out yesterday wearing a wide-brimmed black hat, pants, low-cut camisole and flip flops.
"Just saw Angelina Jolie at the Pali lookout," Tweeted Maile Butler, who saw the star checking out the always-windy spot. Located on the side of a mountain range, it has a breathtaking view of the east side of the island.
Another fan Tweeted a pic from the same spot, showing Angelina stopping to shake hands with a visitor.
Angelina took time off earlier this year to have a double mastectomy after learning that she carried the BRCA gene that gave her an increased chance of having breast and ovarian cancer.
She later had reconstructive surgery and breast implants, and says that she doesn't feel like "any less of a woman" without her natural breasts. "I can tell my children that they don't need to fear that they will lose me to breast cancer," she wrote in an op-ed piece for the New York Times in May.
Brad Pitt and the rest of Angelina's kids are expected to join her in August and they will be staying on the island until the end of October.
