Months after director Paul Feig announced he had an all-female Ghostbusters reboot in the works, it has been revealed that Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones make up the rumored cast of the upcoming flick.
According to the report, Melissa has signed on for one of the leads while the three ‘SNL’ ladies are now negotiating their contracts with the studio.

Feig seemed to have confirmed the news by tweeting a four-way split with headshots of each of the four actresses.

The reboot has been a long time coming. Original director, Ivan Reitman, had initially signed on to reboot the series while the movie’s original stars stars Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson — with the exception of Bill Murray — agreed to reprise their beloved roles.
When Harold passed away last year, Ivan pulled out of production, at which point the ‘Bridesmaids’ director was offered the project.
The Hollywood Reporter was the first to report the cast.
