Late last year, 90 Day Fiancé stars Chelsea Macek and Yamir Castillo announced their divorce and rocked the reality franchise. At the time, Season 2 star Jason Hitch expressed to RadarOnline what everyone was already thinking, "We’re all scratching our heads. The guy was totally in love with her and she with him. There has to be something fishy."

Now, Yamir is speaking out. Earlier this morning, the singer posted a lengthy tribute to his former wife. He captioned the sweet photo, "Just because two people aren't together any longer doesn't mean you cannot have a relationship with that person. Although we no longer have the bond that united us, there's no hate! I spoke with you a week ago to catch up and say 'hello,' and you told me you were so happy, and that warmed my heart. It was such an intense feeling of peace and happiness!" He continued, "I don't need to explain to the world what happened, or about any problems between us; I don't need to repeat it. You can always count on me for the rest of your life. Thank you for giving me a new family (one which I will cherish forever), for giving me your precious time, love, and strength (and also showing me how to love cats, lol)." Anddd, we're crying.

Chelsea, 28, met Yamir, 31, during a concert of his Nicaraguan boy band "Myla Vox." They started dating soon thereafter and quickly got engaged. Chelsea filed for divorce on November 30, 2016 and the dissolution hearing took place on December 9, 2016. The couple told Radar in a joint statement, "I’m sorry, but we are not interested in giving details of our personal lives. We thank you so much for thinking of us."
