Dancing With the Stars
It’s been a rough year for Wynonna Judd, who almost lost her husband in a motorcycle accident last August, but now, with a new gig on Dancing With the Stars and a healthy hubby in attendance, the country star is counting her blessings.“The fact that he was IN the audience is a miracle,” Wynonna said of her husband, Michael Scott “Cactus” Moser, to In Touch at the Dancing With the Stars premiere on March 18. “I haven't gotten to talk to him yet but I saw his face when I was up there onstage and he just beamed at me.”Wynonna and Cactus had only been married for two months when they were riding separate bikes in South Dakota and Cactus’ motorcycle collided with an oncoming vehicle. The drummer was forced to have his left leg amputated above the knee and undergo surgery on his hand.

My name was off the list for a little while, but I'm back,” she says of Dancing. “My name was off the to-do list. You know us givers, we give to our friends and our churches and our families and our schools or whatever and now my husband said, ‘Honey, it's your turn.’”And quite a turn it was! Showing off her soul and strut, Wynonna and partner Tony Dovolani—who was Sara Evans' partner years ago—cha-cha-cha'ed their way to an 18 out of 30, which tied her with reality star Lisa Vanderpump and boxer Victor Ortiz. With her famous family in attendance— including her sister Ashely Judd and mother Naomi Judd along with Cactus—we have a feeling the 48-year-old’s performance was only the first of many memorable dances to come.
