Kanye West’s obsession with Beyoncé finally makes sense! He thinks that Kim Kardashian somehow has something to do with Beyoncé being, well, Beyoncé!
The 37-year-old comedian (because we’re assuming this is a joke) spoke to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast and set the record straight about the ladies’ alleged “feud.” And somehow came to the conclusion that Bey is “inspired by” Kim.
Uhh, what?! Are you for real right now, Kanye?!

He explained, “They love each other, they respect each other. When Beyoncé’s working on her album, she has pictures of Kim on the wall because Kim represents powerful women. Kim plays ‘7/11’ for our daughter.”
Well, yeah, we get that last part because it’s a great song. Everyone should play it for everyone. We’re are, though, a taaaad confused on the part where he mixed up Bey’s vision board (it definitely exists, if only in our fantasies) with every teenage boy’s spank bank.

Okay, to be fair, we have to give a little bit of credit to Kim. She did manage to make a career out of a sex tape (or, in the words of Yeezus himself, “My girl’s a superstar all from a home movie”). Like when you stop and think about it, getting that much fame with that little talent does mean you have to be somewhat powerful.
But why does a woman who’s worth half a billion dollars need to look anywhere but a mirror when looking for “powerful women”?

Kanye continued, “They definitely respect each other, but maybe there’s a LeBron James-Kobe element to it, but I can’t say that.”
Um, let us clarify in sports analogies that everyone can truly appreciate (A.K.A. exclusively using basketball players that either 1. starred in a cinematic masterpiece about aliens or 2. is married to a reality star).

They’re more like Michael Jordan and Lamar Odom. Kim is a good player and helped earn some victories — but at the end of the day, she’ll just be remembered for ‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians.’
