Robin Williams was passionate about gaming.
He loved video games so much that he named his daughter Zelda after the title character in “The Legend of Zelda.”
So when the comedian ended his own life on Aug. 11, his fans and fellow gaming enthusiasts created a petition asking that the larger-than-life actor be memorialized in one of his favorite games, World of Warcraft.

And as if by the work of the Genie himself, it appears the wish of nearly 11,000 petition-signers has been granted!
According to one report, Robin has reincarnated as non-playing characters that represent three of his most loved roles.
Should players find themselves on an island off Talador’s coast, Robin can be summoned as Genie from Aladdin by rubbing the Ever-Burning Lamp.
Near the Lamp, there’s a large broken egg—much like the spacecraft Mork arrived to Earth in on Mork & Mindy—with a character dressed in the alien’s signature suspenders.
Finally, a character resembling the hilarious father-turned-nanny in the eponymous Mrs. Doubtfire also appears on the island.
While the game is still in Beta and could change, it’s amazing to see he’ll live on in a way so personal to Robin.
