If you didn't already know, Kim Kardashian is pretty much the queen of the entire world (Okay, so maybe I'm a little biased, but just because she's the background to my phone doesn't mean that I can't give you some totally reasonable arguments as to why that opinion is FACT). Even though Keeping Up With the Kardashians has been on the air for over a decade at this point, people still love to question why the Kardashians are famous. So here's just a little insight into why Kween Kim Kardashian is rightfully one of the most famous people ever ever ever.

She's basically the reason KUWTK has lasted a decade.

It cannot be overstated how much impact the reality show Keeping Up With the Kardashians has had on the way we consume reality television. According to the New York Times, from its first episode until April 2015, there were a total of 211,550 minutes of the show on E! — that means almost 150 days, non-stop. So if you don't think that number is wildly impressive, I'm really not sure what to tell you.

She completely changed the beauty industry.

Before Kim, let's face it, we didn't contour. I'm not saying the Kardashians invented contouring because that's not true, but they did make it mainstream. Kim is the reason I own a contour kit — not so surprisingly, I own her contour kit, which came from her beauty line KKW Beauty, which sold 300,000 kits in three hours. That's nearly $14.5 million. In three hours.

She uses her connections to help people.

Just recently, Kim made headlines for enlisting high-profile lawyers to help two women who she felt had been mistreated by the legal system. Sex trafficking victim Cyntoia Brown and first-time drug offender Alice Marie Johnson who is serving life in prison.

Johnson even wrote a heartfelt thank-you note to Kim for her efforts. “Dear Ms. Kardashian, I am so humbled by what you are doing and have already done on my behalf,” the note said. "There are no words too strong enough to express my deep and heartfelt gratitude…Ms. Kardashian you are literally helping to save my life and restore me to my family. I was drowning and you have thrown me a life jacket and given me hope."

She embraces her sexuality and encourages other women too also.

After she received intense backlash for her famous nude selfie — which was also my phone background for a while, but that's neither here nor there — she made her stance very clear on how she feels empowered in her sexuality.

“I never understand why people get so bothered by what other people choose to do with their lives. I don’t do drugs, I hardly drink, I’ve never committed a crime — and yet I’m a bad role model for being proud of my body?” she said in an essay on her website. And though people point to her now 14-year-old sex tape as the real reason for her fame, she fought back at that notion saying that she's totally moved on. “I lived through the embarrassment and fear, and decided to say who cares, do better, move on. I shouldn’t have to constantly be on the defense, listing off my accomplishments just to prove that I am more than something that happened 13 years ago. Let’s move on, already. I have.”

So, all-in-all, Kim Kardashian is a queen. And if you got till the end of this and still think "I still don't get it," well then you might be a ?, and I just can't help you with that!
