Daughter Blue Ivy Her
Superstar Beyoncé’s best friend is a 1-year-old!
“[Blue Ivy’s] my road dog, my homey, my best friend,” the singer confesses about her daughter in the March issue of Vogue.
The singer and wife to Jay-Z continues, stating that her baby girl’s birth was “the best day of my life.”
“I feel like I have something that has grounded me so much more. Family has always been important,” the “Single Ladies” singer shares. “I’ve always had my mother and my father and my husband. But it’s just… Life is so much more than…. It’s not defined by any of this.”
So what’s up next for the star, who recently rocked the Super Bowl halftime show, and her sidekick?
“It’s very important to me that my daughter is able to experience life and run through the sprinklers and have slumber parties and trust and live and do all the things that any child should be able to do,” the 31-year-old, who looked stunning at the Grammys on Feb. 10, shares. “School visits and lemonade stands and all that stuff. It’s very important for me.”
And she’s also about to share an inside look at her personal life in a new documentary, Life Is But a Dream. In it, Bey opens up about her pregnancy – and a miscarriage – like never before.
Make sure you watch her documentary when it airs on Feb. 16 on HBO!
