Have Mercy! John Stamos Finally Found the One and She’s Gorgeous AF
Lucky lady! John Stamos is officially off the market — and expecting his first child! While we’re sad that everyone’s dreams of marrying Uncle Jesse are crushed, fans are obviously very curious about the eternal heartthrob’s new fiancée and baby mama, Caitlin McHugh.
In an interview with People on Dec. 13, John, 54, revealed they’re expecting their first child. “We have the same morals and the same values, that all clicked nicely. So we said, ‘Oh, well, maybe we should have a family,'” the _Fuller House _ star said. Caitlin suggested, “‘Maybe we should have a kid [before we get married]’ and I said, ‘Why?'” John recalled, revealing his fiancée jokingly clapped back, “Because you’re old.”
Prior to the baby announcement, John confirmed the two were engaged via social media on Sunday, Oct. 22. “I asked…she said yes! …And we lived happily ever after,” he captioned an illustration of a couple at Disneyland, accompanied by a ring emoji. As fans are well aware, the Full House alum has been a huge fan of the theme park for years — and it’s also a place that he and Caitlin, 32, have loved to visit together. Back in January, John told Entertainment Tonight that he and Caitlin prefer to keep their love life on the DL. “We like to keep our lives private because we’ve seen what relationships in the public eye can be like and we just like our privacy,” he said. “We don’t want the commentary from the masses about what our relationship is or should be. We’re very happy together and we hope to be so for a long time.”
Caitlin has dreams of being a superhero.
Caitlin, who is also a trained martial artist, recently told ET that she would love to make use of her fighting skills by appearing in an action film. “I would love [to work for] Marvel. Star Wars, if we’re talking dreams,” she said. “[And be able to play] a strong woman who’s not on the sidelines trying to get saved, kicking-a– and taking numbers!”
Caitlin will be John’s second wife.
The hunky TV vet was previously married to model and actress Rebecca Romjin. They split in 2004 after six years of marriage, and she went on to marry Jerry O’Connell, with whom she has twin girls.
