Allegations of sexual misconduct have been coming out of Hollywood for weeks. Now, another actress, Heather Lind, is coming forward — this time, accusing former President of the United States, George H.W. Bush, of sexual assault. The 34-year-old took to social media to document their encounter in a lengthy Instagram post, and now, people are slamming the star and even calling her "pathetic."
One person wrote, "A 90-year-old man in a wheelchair told you a 'dirty joke' then cheekily [touched] your behind... HE'S NINETY YEARS OLD. Probably senile. AND HIS WIFE WAS RIGHT THERE. That is NOT sexual assault and my mind is blown that you would even post something stating otherwise. Trying to jump on the bandwagon that is the Harvey Weinstein disgusting mess is PATHETIC on your part. People like you are what’s wrong with the world."
Another, however, came to her defense and clapped back at one of the haters. "It doesn't matter if he is old or not. He grabbed her a-- and that is not okay in any situation. I guess you just don't understand what it's like to be violated in that way. A stranger touching you in a place you didn't want to be touched. It's disturbing no matter what his age or whether his wife was there or not. All she is doing is telling her story and being truthful to herself. She doesn't need you to defend her assaulter. Maybe you should read up on what sexual assult is?" Scroll through our photos below to learn more about Heather.
