The Simpsons has been on the air for more 600 episodes. Since its beginning in 1989, the Simpson family has become part of our own, and we think it's time to answer some burning fan questions like, who does the voice of Bart Simpson?
While some might expect the trouble-making, skateboarding, Simpson to be voiced by a boy closer to his age, 59-year-old Nancy Cartwright is actually behind all the "Eat my shorts" and "I didn't do it" catchphrases!
It's the longest-running sitcom, the longest-running animated series, and the longest-running American primetime, scripted television series, and, surprisingly, the huge cast of characters is actually only voiced by a handful of actors.

Nearly all the voices in Springfield are provided by Nancy Cartwright, Julie Kavner, Dan Castellaneta, Pamela Hayden, Yeardley Smith,Harry Shearer, and Hank Azaria!
Whether they're creepily predicting the future or featuring A-list guest stars like Neil Patrick Harris, Liam Neeson, and Katy Perry, the cast and crew of The Simpsons has truly made history as one of the best shows ever! And while some shows come and go, we're sure that this show, and the voices behind it, will be remembered forever.
All we can hope for is another 30 seasons!
