Ryan Murphy Just Announced ‘American Crime Story: Who Bit Beyonce’ and Maybe We’ve Gone Too Far, Guys
And the mass hysteria continues! Tiffany Haddish had no idea the kind of frenzy she would unleash by sharing a story about a fellow actress biting Beyonce in the face during a 2017 party. In the public’s desperate attempt to figure out who did the biting, they’ve managed to inspire a new TV show!
“It’s happening,” wrote mega-showrunner Ryan Murphy on a mock-up of a title card that says American Crime Story: Who Bit Beyonce.”Who should play Beyonce?” he teased. He’s obviously kidding, but we, and thousands of fans would totally watch! Fans quickly threw their suggestions his way, including Rihanna, Evan Peters (lol), and Beyonce herself. But who would play opposite her as “the biter?” That’s what everyone wants to know!
As of March 27, the leading theory is that Sanaa Lathan, who stars on Love & Basketball, may have been the perpetrator. According to TMZ, Tiff told some friends who it was, and they told the outlet that Sanaa was the one who caused this whole drama. “It was not an aggressive bite. It was playful and noninvasive but still caught Beyoncé off guard,” said the source.
However, Sanaa herself says that’s crazy talk. “Y’all are funny,” she tweeted. “Under no circumstances did I bite Beyonce and if I did it would’ve been a love bite ?.” That spurred hilarious responses from fans like, “Sis your response is hella OJ-ish. ‘I didn’t kill Nicole but if I did… ‘ ?,” and, “I did not have dental contact with that woman…”

Here’s how it all started. In a GQ interview released on March 25, Tiff revealed that someone bit Bey in the face at an afterparty for one of JAY-Z’s concerts. “So Beyonce stormed away, went up to JAY-Z, and was like, ‘Jay! Come here! This b—h–’ and snatched him,” she revealed. “They went to the back of the room. I was like, ‘What just happened?’ And Beyonce’s friend walked up and was like, ‘Can you believe this b—h just bit Beyonce?’”
“Beyonce’s at the bar, so I said to Beyonce, ‘Did she really bite you?’” she continued. “She was like, ‘Yeah.’ I was like, ‘She gonna get her a** beat tonight.’ She was like, ‘Tiffany, no. Don’t do that. That b—h is on drugs. She not even drunk. The b—h is on drugs. She not like that all the time. Just chill.’” So you can imagine why the drugged-up biter wouldn’t want to be named publicly. For her part, Beyonce is keeping quiet, but we hope she opens up eventually!
