‘Teen Mom 2’ Star Chelsea Houska Ditched Her Job as an Esthetician to Be a Full-Time Mama
Drumroll, please… Teen Mom 2 star, Chelsea Houska is a full-time mom these days to her two adorable kiddos, but what does she do for a living? Turns out, the answer is nothing — well, besides being a reality star, that is!
The 25-year-old is a licensed esthetician in South Dakota, but she put her career on hold to take care of her son, whom she welcomed in January 2017 with hubby Cole DeBoer, and her daughter, Aubree, 8, whom she shares with ex Adam Lind.
A little over a month after welcoming her youngest, a fan on Twitter asked the new mom of two if she still works as an esthetician, and she was very candid in her response writing, "I did till I had Watson! I'm gonna stay home with him since we are lucky enough to be able to do that. But still going to." In another tweet, the reality star said she wants to keep her beauty license up-to-date, though, "for when I do decide or need to go back to work!"

Chelsea's husband is a traffic coordinator, so the family isn't too concerned about money. Plus, Chels makes bank on the show. According to Adam, she's raking in a cool $250,000-$300,000 per season, so yeah, they're doing just fine…
But what about the other TM2 ladies? Well, Kailyn Lowry earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications from Delaware State University last year and has her own podcast with Chrisley Knows Best star Lindsie Chrisley. In 2015, Jenelle Evans graduated from Miller-Motte Technical College with a Medical Assistant degree and shared on social media earlier that year that she already landed a job. She's also known to post an Instagram ad every now and then, too!
As for Leah Messer? The mom-of-three's line of work is perhaps the most mysterious out of all the TM ladies. She tried nursing, beauty school, and even did a stint at a tanning salon. In 2014, she signed on as a Mary Kay consultant and was also selling LipSense for a while. But given Chelsea's alleged salary, we're sure all the ladies could afford to quit their day jobs.
