‘Counting On’ Star Jinger Duggar’s First Child Is Due Later Than We Thought!
Counting On stars Jinger Duggar and her husband, Jeremy Vuolo, announced they’re expecting baby No. 1 earlier this week, and now fans are wondering — when is she due? The so-called “rebel” daughter of the ultra-conservative family just revealed the exciting news, but it doesn’t seem like she’s too far along.
In a video posted to their website, the happy couple explained that they didn’t know the sex of the baby yet, which probably means that she’s less than 16 weeks along, or in her second trimester. According to Baby Center, the second trimester is the earliest a woman can find out the sex.
It would make sense that the soon-to-be mama is somewhere in her second trimester, though, since most women wait until after they’re through their first trimester before making an announcement to the world. According to the same website, about 10 to 20 percent of known pregnancies end in miscarriage, and more than 80 percent of these losses happen before 12 weeks. If our calculations are correct, this means that Jinge is likely in the early stages of the second trimester and would be due sometime around late June!
Although we’re over-the-moon for the pair, we can’t say we’re too surprised. Last month, the reality star sparked rumors she was expecting when she posted a snap in a baggy shirt and pants, which prompted fans to think she might be hiding a bump.
Even back in August, while Jinger and her hunky hubby were spotted looking at baby clothes — most likely for one of her many nieces and nephews! — people couldn’t help but speculate. Congrats to the happy couple — and to Jim Bob and Michelle who will soon have 12 grandchildren! Yes, 12!
