When does OutDaughtered come back?! Doesn't TLC know we're dying to know how Danielle and Adam Busby and their all-female quintuplets are faring? Luckily, we won't have to wait much longer. On Thursday, April 12, Adam took to Instagram to reveal that the family's hit show got renewed!
"Finally! We can FINALY share with you all what we have been keeping a secret for soooooo long!" he wrote. "Follow the link in our bio for all the info. Many new changes coming to the Busby family in the coming weeks." TBH, this is a greater gift than Khloé Kardashian giving birth.
Just last week, we talked to Danielle about the possibility of the show getting renewed, but at the time, she wasn't able to confirm anything. "Not at this time, but maybe one day," the reality star mama said.
As In Touch previously reported, both Adam and Danielle alluded at the fourth season on Instagram prior to the annoucement. Adam, for example, posted an Instagram video showing two cameramen with the fam at a playground in October. And Danielle also uploaded a now-deleted Instagram post starring the camera crew. "Back in action… to my cozy couch!" she wrote. "#season3 #couchinterviews." (We're pretty sure she meant Season 4 since Season 3 had already aired by that point.)
And in November, Adam teased the new episodes again when a Twitter fan asked if they were returning for another season. He responded, "Our story is much bigger than we are and there is still so much more to tell. You will just have to wait and see! 😊#OutDaughtered."
So what can we expect from the new season? Well, for starters, the quints are no longer babies! "We no longer have five babies — we now have five little kids, in addition to Blayke," Danielle said, according to TLC's blog. "One of the biggest milestones we've reached is that they talk nonstop with real words and sentences. All day, every day, our house has six or so different conversations going on at one time — and you have to try and keep up with all of them!"
Not to mention, there are tons of other Busby family developments to cover! The quintuplets started potty-training — which Danielle told us "has been the worst" — they experienced snow for the first time, Ava went to the hospital not long before Danielle did, Blayke tried out lipstick, and the Busbys apparently contemplated an addition to the family! Plus, they got caught up in one of the biggest news stories of last year: Danielle's mom, Michelle, lost everything in Hurricane Harvey. Now we just need an official premiere date!
