’90 Day Fiancé’ Star Patrick May Have Not Been Truthful About His Relationship With Myriam
Fans were introduced to Patrick and Myriam on Season 1 of TLC’s new 90 Day Fiancé spinoff, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and while their time together didn’t go quite as Patrick planned, they still returned for the tell-all special. All hope for a proposal was gone after Myriam revealed her big secret — she had a boyfriend that Patrick didn’t know about — and things got heated when they discussed their whole situation with Patrick’s mom.

His mother was understandably upset because she felt that Myriam was just playing with her son’s heart and she got into a yelling match with Myriam over video chat. But Myriam broke down in tears and she suggested that Patrick wasn’t being truthful about the real nature of their relationship before he flew to Paris to meet her in person.
“I’m sad everybody think [sic] I’m not honest,” Myriam said, crying. “You didn’t tell the truth to your mother because me and Patrick was just friends [and at the] last moment, two weeks before he come [sic] to Paris, [he told me] that he had feelings for me. Now I have the image as this b—h because he didn’t say the truth to his mother.”

Patrick is a 25-year-old DJ from Lexington, Kentucky. The single father claimed that met and fell in love with Myriam on social media, a 24-year-old from Paris. In his intro, Patrick referred to Myriam as his “girlfriend” and he said that in his profession, it’s easy for him to connect with tons of women all over the world via social media, but there was something special about Myriam.
Myriam is religious and her Muslim faith is a very important part in her life, and Patrick also said that there is a very big difference between foreign women and American women. “I used to say all the time, ‘You know mom, I’m gonna marry someone that’s overseas.’ I just always thought the women were better because the respect was different than American women,” Patrick explained. “She has the moral values of being in a relationship, and that’s something that you look for when you get older and you want to start settling down.”
But it looks like there’s no hope for Myriam and Patrick. She flat out told him during the tell-all, “I’m sorry Patrick. You have to stay in the friend zone because I have someone.”
