Although no formal funeral plans have been announced for Cory Monteith, the Glee star who died suddenly at the age of 31 this weekend, one guest has already announced their plans to attend: the Westboro Baptist Church, the extreme Kansas church known for appearing at soldiers' funerals bearing signs with hateful anti-gay slogans.
Among the hate group's crazy comments are claims that Cory is going to hell for supporting openly gay friend and costar Chris Colfer. They also claim that God wants them to spread their message in Canada, where Cory will most likely be buried.
No further information about Cory's cause of death has been released yet, although a toxicology report and autopsy are pending. Meanwhile, fans have created an impromptu memorial at the Fairview Pacific Rim hotel in Vancouver, where Cory's body was discovered.
A candlelight vigil will be held outside the Fairview Pacific Rim this Friday night.
