These days, Victoria Beckham couldn’t seem further from her former life as a member of one of the biggest girl groups of all time (the Spice Girls… as if we even had to tell you).
But the truth is, the successful fashion designer that we know and love wouldn’t be the star she is today if it weren’t for her background with the group.

“I think what gave me confidence in myself was meeting the other girls,” Mrs. David Beckham told Allure. “We always said we were all like rejects in our own way. We had to work hard, and they helped me accept me for who I was.”
Aww, this just proves it—the influence of Girl Power is real!
Still, even though Posh herself admitted that Girl Power is real, don’t expect to see her sharing the stage with Emma, Geri, Mel B. and Mel C. anytime soon! Just last month, she ruled out the possibility of reuniting the Spice Girls one more time.
“I won’t ever do it again,” she told Vanity Fair Italy. “Doing the Olympics was an incredible honor. I was so proud to do it, proud to be British… that was the perfect time to say, ‘That’s great. Thank you to everybody, but no more.’ Sometimes you’ve got to know when it’s time to leave the party.”
So much for Viva Forever, are we right?!
