In NYC, the MTA makes sure every subway rider knows, “If you see something, say something.” But that wasn’t enough for these tourists/police officers who witnessed a fight underground.
Instead, they sprung into action to break up the fight!

The incident took place around rush hour yesterday, April 23. The conductor stopped the train and asked if there were any officers onboard who could help while they waited for police to arrive.
That’s when 25-year-old cop Makrus Åsberg came forward to break up the brawl.
The catch? He’s an officer… In Sweden!

We guess the duty to protect and serve doesn’t stop at international borders!
“We came here for vacation; we’ve been here one day,” Makrus — who was on his way to see ‘Les Miserables’ with his buddies — told the ‘New York Post.’ “We’re no heroes, just tourists.”
