“I’m a big fan of all things British,” she said. “I get to spend some time there now and again and I like that I can go for fish and chips wearing the most awful outfit and it’s cool, you know.”

Jennifer Lawrence’s Most Jennifer Lawrence Quotes From the 2014 Golden Globes
Okay… so fish and chips and the ability to wear comfortable, albeit unfashionable, clothes without judgment isn’t necessarily enough of a reason to ditch your home country, but the more we think about Jen becoming an ex-pat, the more it makes perfect sense!

Jennifer met her on-again-off-again boyfriend Nicholas Hoult while working on X-Men: First Class. If you’re wondering why he looks so familiar, he’s also the little boy in About a Boy, which is, like, the most quintessentially British movie ever.
Jen once explained that she’s more attractive to British men because they are more polite and she likes their “funny accents.”
“Well, they have these wonderful manners and everything they say is funnier, just because of the accent,” she explained. “I like the way that accent changes, too. There’s the cute ‘I’m trying to be adorable because I know you’re mad at me’ accent. And then there’s the drunk accent where all the consonants have vanished.”
Jen recently told The Sun that she doesn’t do much when she’s in the UK, but she does have an affinity for British TV because they get to curse more than we can in the States. She even revealed her favorite show—the reality program The Only Way Is Essex!
“You guys have your own Jersey Shore which is so ridiculous it’s amazing,” she said. “I can’t even begin… It’s like another world in Essex!”
When Jen covered British Glamour in April of 2012, she admitted that British fashion affected her sartorial tastes.
“I loved the relaxed way British girls dress. I think I dress like [a British girl],” she said. “I like Topshop, Portobello Road and Selfridges—although I always get Selfridges and Waitrose mixed up, which has led to a few disappointing shopping trips.”
Jennifer hasn’t exactly been shy about how she feels about Los Angeles and celebrity culture. The tameness of London appeals to her, compared to the madness of LA, where she needs friends to pick up food for her!
“That’s why I love London,” she said. “All these perfect little pubs in every corner where everyone is fine. The more I travel, the more I get tired of London when I get back.”
