Vin Diesel posted a sweet tribute to his late pal and costar Paul Walker on his Facebook page yesterday.
Vin, 46, posted a picture of the two working together on the set of Fast & Furious 7, which had just begun filming when Paul was tragically killed in a car crash in California. The movie's producers have announced that the film will still be completed and some of Paul's footage will be used as a way to pay tribute to his character in the franchise, Brian O'Conner.
"There was a unique sense of completion, of pride we shared… in the film we were now completing… the magic captured… and, in just how far we've come…" Vin wrote in a caption to the pic on Facebook. The image has been liked more than a million times so far.
Next, the actor announced that there was a new release date for the latest installment in the mega-popular movie franchise: April 10, 2015. "He'd want you to know first," Vin wrote to the fans.
Since Paul's death on November 30 at the age of 40, Hollywood celebs have had an outpouring of appreciation for the actor, who had started his own charity for first responders in countries affected by natural disasters. He was on the way home from a fundraiser for the Philippines when he was killed.
